In August of 2018, my documentary film “The Original Gulf Coast Offense”  was featured in both the print and online editions of the Tallahassee Democrat. Showcasing the film and its spotlight on the infamous Florida A&M football squad from 1998.

As a freelance editor, I was hired as the sole assistant editor to provide any necessary coverage to lead editor Jesse Andrus.

Working as a two man team the duo were responsible for editing the first two episodes which were used to sell the show to BET. Check out a snippet of their work below.

 

In November of 2017, Billboard.com premiered the music video ‘Vibez R Eternal’ by Phocuz and J-Mac on their site. Produced in its entirety by Wali Pitt. ‘Vibes’ is a standout project from 2017. Click the picture below and read the full article, and check out the video here.

 

HBCU Gameday has been my most comprehensive partnership to date. Since joining the Gameday team in 2016, Gameday has gone from one of the most popular HBCU sports blogs in the nation to the unquestioned leader in HBCU digital media in the world.  Largely in part to the videography, web development, and OTT streaming additions that have been added to the platform. In 2018, HBCU Gameday released the first and only Amazon Fire TV channel containing all original content in the HBCU landscape and one of only a handful in all of collegiate sports. My 360° digital media solution provided everything from development of the channel to customized content creation, leaving no stone un-turned in the pursuit of the clients needs.

 

“Bound by Sea” is a feature film from Director Nate Daniel that was shot in 5 countries and follows Jack and Gabby Viorel on their quest to surf every major ocean in the world while giving back to the communities in which they travel to surf. Winner of the “Best Editing” Award at the Los Angeles New Wave Film Festival, “Bound by Sea” is also currently available to buy or stream on Amazon Prime.
